Terms and Conditions

FOR THE SUPPLY OF SANTORO LTD PRODUCTS.

1. THE CONTRACT

Santoro Ltd will confirm all orders via e-mail. This e-mail confirms acceptance of your order and brings into existence a legally binding contract between Santoro Ltd and you, the Purchaser. All e-mail correspondence will be communicated via the address given by you in your order form. Santoro Ltd must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted.

2. PRICE AND SPECIFICATION

a. The prices payable for goods that you order are as set out in our Web site. Whilst we endeavour to maintain prices, Santoro Ltd reserves the right to alter prices and specifications without notice.
b. You will be required to pay extra for delivery and it might not be possible for us to deliver to some locations.

3. AVAILABILITY OF GOODS

If Santoro Ltd has insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you, any sum debited by Santoro Ltd from your credit card will be re-credited to your account and Santoro Ltd will notify you by email. The refund will be made as soon as possible. Santoro Ltd will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

4. DELIVERY OF GOODS TO YOU

a. Santoro Ltd will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you give Santoro Ltd for delivery at the time you make your order.
b. You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and Santoro Ltd will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
c. Any goods ordered via and/or for delivery to a 3rd party shopping/shipping solution are considered delivered when they are accepted at the given delivery address. Any damages/non-delivery past this point will be your responsibility, and you will need to discuss with the 3rd party shopping/shipping provider.

When ordering goods from www.santoro-london.com for delivery outside the UK you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so we advise contacting your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from www.santoro-london.com, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

5. COOLING OFF PERIOD

a. If you live within the EU, under EU law you are entitled to a "cooling off" period after placing your order. You may cancel your order without giving a reason. As long as you return the goods within 14 days following the day of receipt you will receive a full refund of all charges, as long as the goods do not show signs of unreasonable use.
b. The cost of the safe return of the goods is the responsibility of the customer. You are advised to obtain proof of postage from the post office. Santoro Ltd are not responsible for the loss of any items during transit.
c. Santoro Ltd shall not be liable for loss of profits or contracts or other indirect or consequential loss (except in respect of injury to or death of any person) whether arising from negligence, breach of contract or however.

6. ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT

The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations 2013 requires each EU Member State to minimise the disposal of WEEE as unsorted household waste but instead to achieve a high level of WEEE collection for treatment, recovery and environmentally sound disposal.

Many electrical items can be repaired or recycled to alleviate depletion of natural resources. Electrical equipment which ends up in landfill can result in hazardous substances leaking out which may cause soil and water contamination – harming wildlife and potentially also human health.

You can help by recycling your waste electrical items. If you are based in the UK and are purchasing one of our electrical items then we will be happy to arrange to take back and recycle your old replaced article on a like-for-like basis within 28 days of the purchase of your item from us. If you wish to take advantage of this scheme please contact our Customer Services Team for further information.

To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.

7. LIABILITY

a. If the goods Santoro Ltd delivers are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, Santoro Ltd shall have no liability to you unless you notify Santoro Ltd in writing at the Santoro Ltd contact address of the problem within 7 working days of the delivery of goods in question.
b. If you do not receive the goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which you ordered them, Santoro Ltd shall have no liability to you unless you notify Santoro Ltd of the problem in writing at the Santoro Ltd contact address within 30 days of the date on which you ordered the goods.
c. If you live outside of the EU, and are dissatisfied with goods received, Santoro Ltd shall have no liability to you unless you notify Santoro Ltd within 7 working days of delivery and return the goods to Santoro Ltd at your cost and in the condition in which they were sent.
d. If you notify a problem to Santoro Ltd under this condition, Santoro Ltd's only obligation will be, at its option:
i. to make good any shortage or non-delivery
ii. to replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective; or
iii. to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way Santoro Ltd chooses.
e. Santoro Ltd will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem you notify to Santoro Ltd under this condition and Santoro Ltd shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question under paragraph c above.
f. Santoro Ltd shall not be liable for loss of profits or contracts or other indirect or consequential loss (except in respect of injury to or death of any person) whether arising from negligence, breach of contract or however.

8. FORCE MAJEURE

Santoro Ltd shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

9. INVALIDITY

The enforceability of the rest of these conditions will not be affected if any part of these conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which Santoro Ltd excludes its liability to you).

10. GOVERNING LAW

The terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of England, and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes.

11. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These terms and conditions, together with the current Santoro Ltd Web site prices, delivery details and Santoro Ltd contact details, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by Santoro Ltd.
